FAQ

How long does it take to ship a package once it's paid for?

Bao Bae Jewelry ships packages twice a week, typically on Wednesdays and Fridays. Once your package is ready, you will receive an email with the tracking number.

Please note that shipping may be delayed if I am traveling or if resizing needs to be done. Any such delays will be announced on my Instagram or website.

Where are your pieces from?

I take great pride in personally sourcing jewelry, with many pieces coming from New York City or acquired during my travels to trade shows in various cities and countries. Each item is hand-picked by me. Many of the pieces I curate are pre-owned, estate, vintage, and antique. Although these pieces may not originate from the locations where I source them, each one is meticulously tested to ensure it is solid gold and features natural or synthetic gemstones.

Why do some pieces not have gold stamps/hallmarks?

If a piece is vintage or pre-owned, there is a possibility that a previous owner had it resized, which may have removed the original hallmark.

For non-ring items, occasionally the jeweler may have omitted the stamp during creation to avoid damaging the gemstones. In such cases, it is often best not to disturb the piece. However, rest assured that every item in the Bao Bae collection is thoroughly tested for authenticity before being listed on my site.

Do you offer resizing?

Yes, pieces sold here are eligible for resizing services. Ring resizing costs start at $35 and vary depending on the amount of gold added. The resizing process typically takes 1-7 business days, and I usually drop off items for resizing every Tuesday.

For necklaces or bracelets, after shortening, you can choose to have the remaining gold shipped to you with your piece in case you wish to extend it later, or I can melt the excess gold and provide a refund. Refunds for the melted gold will be processed via Zelle, Wise, PayPal Friends & Family, or can be used as credit towards your next purchase.

Do you offer custom design?

I love designing jewelry, but currently, I only create pieces based on the gems I personally source and find inspiring. I value your feedback and occasionally share my design process on my Instagram stories.

At this time, I do not offer custom designs for clients. However, I hope to provide this service in the future.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept zelle and wise for discounted prices or credit cards here on Shopify. For more info feel free to chat with me on Instagram.
